Technics Turntable Relaunching in 2016

Panasonic has announced it will be reviving its Technics turntable line, which was discontinued in 2010. The announcement was made during a press conference at IFA, a trade show in Berlin focused on consumer electronics. Here's the presented prototype of the new direct-drive turnable. The analog turntable will be completely rebuilt, Panasonic said, with new elements at every level. But it will also be designed to reflect the esteem in which the classic Technics turntables are still held.
