Powered Mixer with Feedback Locating System! The XR 8300 from Peavey is a powered-mixer that's ideal for band rehearsals, small clubs, and any situation where an incredibly elaborate sound system isn't necessary. The XR 8300 packs a lot of functionality into a compact frame, and gives you some handy tools to create a great sounding live mix. With a total of 8 microphone and 10 line inputs, the XR 8300 comes well-equipped to handle a variety of live sound applications. An on-board digital effects processor with effect send knobs on every channel allow you to sweeten the sound where it's needed. The amplifier section allows for some flexibility as well. You have the option of using one amp to power the main speakers and the other amp to power monitors, or both amps can be used to power main speakers. There are additional outputs for both the main and monitor mixes, so you can easily attach more sound reinforcement where it's needed. There's even a visual aid that helps you get rid of feedback. The XR 8300 has an integrated feedback locating system. When the system detects feedback, an LED light will illuminate over the frequency band on the graphic EQ that's causing the problem. You simply lower the slider on the offending frequency until the feedback is eliminated. There are balanced XLR and 1/4" inputs on 7 of the channels. Every channel has 3-band EQ. The amplifier outputs are Neutrik Speakon combo jacks. The XR 8300 is the perfect powered-mixer for any situation that demands an easy-to-operate yet powerful PA system.
