A Sub for your VersArray! The Versarray 218 from Peavey is a pro-quality subwoofer that provides bass reinforcement for full-range speakers, ideal for PA and array applications. The sub features a pair of 18" Lo Max Kevlar-impregnated cones with polymide-impregnated formers, die-cast aluminum frames, and 4" OFHC copper voice coils to deliver crisp, distortion-free bass. The sub has a power handling capability of 4800W program (9600W peak) for superb power that you can feel. The sub offers 4 or 8 ohm selectable operation, and has a pair of 4-pin Neutrik Speakon parallel inputs, one 8-pin Neutrik Speakon input, and a 4-pin Neutrik Speakon thru input to provide versatile connectivity and operation. The patented UniVent cooling system pumps cool outside air through the enclosure to maintain stable operating temperatures for increased reliability and reduced power compression. The sub has a 13-ply Baltic birch construction with a durable GatorHyde acrylic polyurethane finish and a 16-gauge powder-coated perforated metal grille to endure years of heavy-duty professional use. Tilt-back 4" casters provide easy transportation and setup.
