The Gemini Sound UHF-5200HL: Dual 1156-Channel UHF Wireless Headset/Lavalier System is designed for live sound reinforcement applications such as for DJs, lecturers, singers, and fitness instructors among others. This system consists of a dual channel UHF receiver and two UHF bodypack transmitters with headset/lavalier microphones.
The receiver features 1156 channels with a transmission range of approximately 250 feet. It utilizes phase locked loop circuitry to prevent phasing issues commonly found in other wireless systems. The front panel includes a power button, two rotary volume controls, RF and AF LED indicators, and adjustment controls for group and channel assignments. Each receiver can connect up to 20 microphones simultaneously without interference.
Each bodypack transmitter comes included with a lightweight convertible headset with a removable lavalier microphone. This allows you to wear the microphone on your head, such as when running a fitness class, or on your lapel such as when conducting an interview. The microphone features a condenser element with a cardioid polar pattern and includes foam inserts to reduce interference due to wind noise and popping. The transmitter includes a power/mute button and will run for up to eight hours on two AA batteries.
