The matched pair of Pulsar II small diaphragm condenser microphones by M-Audio feature gold-sputtered Mylar ¾" diameter diaphragms. They also feature Class A FET transformerless electronics and brass bodies with internal shockmounts. Each microphone has a cardioid polar pattern, focusing on sources to the front and rejecting sound from the sides and rear. 
 Each Pulsar II microphone has a switchable 10dB pad and a switchable low cut filter at 80Hz. The matched pair includes a stereo mounting bar, hard mounts, risers, windscreens, and soft bags. A wooden travel case is also included to contain and transport the microphones and all accessories.
