The Rane CP66 Commercial Zone Processor is an excellent audio distribution solution for a restaurant, retail store, or any other environment where a paging system is needed in addition to multiple input/output zones.
The CP66 has 6 mono output zones that can be linked or individually assigned from the 6 mono-summed inputs. Input 6 can be set as a gated Priority Input for use with a jukebox or notification system.
An additional analog input allows for the connection of a paging microphone, which can be separately enabled and leveled in each zone. The CP66 also supports Rane's PAGER2 Paging Station, which can be toggled on the fly to page any of the six zones individually or in combination. A dedicated, transformer-isolated Music on Hold output connects any of the inputs to your phone system.
In addition to such flexible routing, each zone is equipped with independent DSP controls for input level, page level, page-activated ducking, high pass filter, and a program limiter.
Rane's proprietary DR1 and DR3 remote controls can be connected to individual zones, or as a single Master Control. The remotes connect by RJ45-terminated CAT 5e Ethernet cables at lengths up to 1,000 feet (304.8 m).
The CP66 includes PC software for Windows that makes it easy to save zone names, DSP settings, and routing configurations.
